Terms of service
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of GovProcure, provided by NearbyYou Ltd. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your business.
1. The service
GovProcure collects public procurement notices from official UK sources, matches them to the business profile you provide, and sends you alerts and summaries. It is a business-to-business service for organisations, not consumers.
2. Accuracy
Tender information comes from official sources and is presented as published. Match scores and summaries are guidance only. Always read the official notice and tender documents before deciding to bid; the buyer's documents take precedence. We do not guarantee that you will win any contract, and we have no role in how buyers evaluate bids.
3. Accounts
Keep your login details secure and make sure the information you give us is accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite to your workspace.
4. Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe for the period shown at checkout, after a 14-day free trial where offered. Prices exclude VAT where applicable. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed. If a payment fails your account moves to the free plan until payment succeeds. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other customers' data, resell or bulk-redistribute our data, or use it to send unsolicited marketing.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for lost profits, lost contracts or indirect losses, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
7. Ending the service
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. We may change these terms by giving notice by email or in the app.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
